These two cases hang above my desk in my office, over my “Bug Man Blvd” sign.
The case on the left holds some of the insects I have collected over the years. It has big silk moths, swallowtails, sphinx moths, beetles, cicadas, a dragonfly and a good mix of smaller insects, all labeled by order. Every one of them brings back a memory of where and when I caught it.
The case on the right is mostly exotic butterflies I bought and mounted myself. The blue morphos always get the most attention, but I also love the paper kite and the tiger butterflies.
What do you have hanging on your walls? Post a picture of your favorite case. I’d love to see what everyone is collecting.
