The Dark Flower Scarab is found throughout the United States from Texas to Florida and Nebraska to New York. The specimen pictured was collected in Missouri on a leaf of some Oak seedlings. The specimen pictured is representative of the dead insect specimen you would receive.
These dried insect specimen were collected mostly in Missouri, Georgia and Wisconsin. They were most likely collected using an Insect Killing Jar
and ethyl acetate killing jar fluid or killed by freezing. No marking chemicals are present on any of our dried insect specimens. The Dark Flower Scarab is a great addition to your insect collection.
